23.07.2018Call for data and information - Plastics LCA
In the framework of the European Strategy for Plastics in a Circular Economy recently adopted by the European Commission, the Joint Research Centre (JRC) has started, in cooperation with the Directorate General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW), a project titled "Comparative Life-Cycle Assessment of alternative feedstocks for plastics production." In this context, LCA4Plastics will also look into the end of life of plastics and aspects of biodegradability.

After a screening of the existing knowledge base, the JRC would like to offer stakeholders the opportunity to provide the Plastics LCA project team with existing technical data and information that is relevant for the purpose of the project.

The attached text of the call provides further information on the types of input required, on the background and objectives of the project, as well as on the procedure to be followed to provide any data and information. LCA4Plastics tries to reach all relevant stakeholders, so please feel free to forward this information.

If you think that you or your organisation has relevant input, please respond to this call for information and data.

Inputs are welcome until July 31 and shall be provided ONLY to the following e-mail address:
