07.02.2019Second round of the global biobased business plan competition (G-BiB)
CLIB announces the second round of the global biobased business plan competition (G-BiB). Between 17 February and 17 March 2019 teams of 2-5 students can register together with a mentor from their university.

The G-BiB is aiming at excellent business plans for the sustainable production or partial production of bio-based materials, chemicals or fuels submitted by teams from German or Belgium universities.
During the competition, the teams will get to know each other in a joint kick-off meeting, will be trained in topic areas like public relations, pitching und business plan writing during a master class and will get the chance to pitch their idea in front of experts and investors in the national semi-finals and the international finals. The winning team of the G-BiB 2019 will be awarded a monetary prize to further develop their business idea.

The German partner CLIB – Cluster industrielle Biotechnology and the Belgium partners Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant and Flanders Biobased Valley are hosting the competition 2019. The G-BiB is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research in the project CROSSBEE- Cross Border BioEconomy Education and in cooperation with the Interreg North-West Europe project BioBase4SME.
