The use of our public pages is generally anonymous. We would like to point out that data transmission via the Internet is currently essentially unsecured. It is not excluded that transmitted data may be taken note of by unauthorized persons. We would like to point out that Internet-based data transmission has security gaps, making complete protection against access by third parties impossible.

Legal Basis
The legal basis for data processing is Article 6(1)(a) and, in the case of data reception/contact outside this website, Article 6(1)(f) of the Basic Data Protection Regulation. Our concern within the meaning of § 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f (legitimate interest) of the Basic Data Protection Ordinance is communication with you on topics relevant to the association and the transmission of corresponding information.

Cookies
We use so-called cookies on our site for the recognition of multiple use of our offer by the same user/internet connection owner. Cookies are small text files that your Internet browser stores on your computer. They serve to optimize our website and our offers. These are usually so-called "session cookies", which are deleted after the end of your visit.
In some cases, however, these cookies provide information in order to automatically recognize you. This recognition is based on the IP address stored in the cookies. The information obtained in this way serves to optimize our offers and to provide you with easier access to our site.
You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of our website. The networking tool networking.clib2021.de stores a session cookie to keep you logged in: IP address, the referrer and the browser signature. In addition, error logs are stored, which can also contain the IP. Both logs are stored for 14 days and than deleted automatically. Backups are stored for one month and than deleted automatically.

Server data

For technical reasons, the following data, which your Internet browser transmits to us or to our web space provider, are collected (so-called server log files):
- browser type and version
- operating system used
- Website from which you visit us (referrer URL)
- Website you are visiting
- Date and time of your access
- Your Internet Protocol (IP) address.

These anonymous data are stored separately from any personal data you may have provided and thus do not allow any conclusions to be drawn about a particular person. They are evaluated for statistical purposes in order to optimize our website and our offers.
On the page www.clib2021.de log files are stored for 1 month. Log files store, among other things, the IP address, the browser used, the time and date and the system used by a site visitor. Only pseudonymised IP addresses of visitors to the website are stored. At web server level this is done by saving an IP address 123.123.123.XXX instead of the actual IP address of the visitor, where XXX is a random value between 1 and 254. The creation of a personal reference is no longer possible.
Backups are encrypted and will be kept for 14 days and than deleted automatically.

Registration feature

We offer members of the cluster the opportunity to register on our site. The data entered in the course of this registration, which can be seen from the input mask of the registration form, are collected and stored exclusively for the use of our offer and correspond to the membership documents. When you register on our site, we will also store your IP address and the date and time of your registration. In the event that a third party misuses your data and registers on our site with this data without your knowledge, this serves as a safeguard on our part. The data will not be passed on to third parties. A comparison of the data collected in this way with data that may be collected by other components of our site does not take place either.

Newsletter

We offer you the opportunity to subscribe to our newsletter by e-mail. With this newsletter we inform in regular intervals about our offers. To receive our newsletter, you need a valid e-mail address. We will check the e-mail address you have entered to make sure that you are actually the owner of the e-mail address provided or that the owner is authorized to receive the newsletter. The data collected in this e-mail will only be used to subscribe to our newsletter. The data will not be passed on to third parties. A comparison of the data collected in this way with data that may be collected by other components of our site does not take place either. You can cancel your subscription to this newsletter at any time. Details can be found in the confirmation e-mail and in each individual newsletter.

Data reception/contact outside this website
If you provide us with your personal data via a means other than via this website (submission of business cards, contacting us by e-mail, etc.) or if we collect your data via publicly accessible sources, we process and store your data electronically. This is done for the purpose of individual communication with you on topics relevant to the association. Your data will be stored until your interest in information ceases to exist. As far as this is necessary for the fulfilment of common association purposes, your personal data is passed on by CLIB2021 to its members. If we use external service providers as contractors, your data will also be passed on to them.

Contact possibility

On our website we offer you the possibility to contact us by e-mail and/or via a contact form. In this case, the information provided by the user will be stored for the purpose of processing his contact. The data will not be passed on to third parties. A comparison of the data collected in this way with data that may be collected by other components of our site does not take place either.

Commenting option

On our site, we offer you the opportunity to leave comments on the individual contributions. The IP address of the author/connection owner is stored. This storage is for our security in the event that the author's comments interfere with the rights of third parties and/or unlawful content is posted. Thus, there is a self-interest on our part in the stored data of the author, especially as we can be prosecuted under certain circumstances because of such violations of rights. The data will not be passed on to third parties. A comparison of the data collected in this way with data that may be collected by other components of our site does not take place either.

Subscription of comments

On our site, we offer you the opportunity to subscribe to the following comments on a post for which you are about to write a comment. If you choose this option, you will receive a confirmation email to verify that you are actually the owner of the email address you provided. The decision to subscribe to such follow-up comments can be cancelled at any time. Details can be found in the confirmation mail. The data obtained in this way will not be passed on to third parties. A comparison of the data collected in this way with data that may be collected by other components of our site does not take place either.

Publication of job advertisements / online job applications

Your application data will be collected and processed electronically by us for the purpose of handling the application procedure. If your application is followed by the conclusion of an employment contract, your transmitted data may be stored by us in your personnel file for the purpose of the usual organisational and administrative process in compliance with the relevant legal regulations. If your application is rejected, the data you have submitted will automatically be deleted two months after notification of rejection. This does not apply if longer storage is necessary due to legal requirements (e.g. the burden of proof according to the General Equal Treatment Act) or if you have expressly agreed to longer storage in our database of interested parties.

Information/Revocation/Deletion

In accordance with the Federal Data Protection Act, you can contact us free of charge with questions regarding the collection, processing or use of your personal data and the correction, blocking, deletion or revocation of a given consent. We would like to point out that you have the right to have incorrect data corrected or personal data deleted if there is no legal obligation to retain such data.

Your Rights
You can revoke your consent to data processing and storage at any time with effect for the future. The revocation does not affect the legality of data processing based on the consent until revocation. You have the right to receive free information about your stored personal data and the right to have it corrected or deleted if necessary or to demand that processing be restricted. You also have the right to receive the data in a structured, common and machine-readable format and to transmit it to a third party. In such cases, please also have the right to make a complaint to the competent data protection authority in connection with the processing of your data.
