20.01.2016 - 21.01.2016 Lindner Congress Hotel, Lütticher Straße 130, 40547 Düsseldorf

The CLIB International Conference 2016 will take place on 20 & 21 January 2016 in Düsseldorf and will be themed “Bioeconomy - next steps into value creation“.

Biotechnological processes and renewable resources gain importance in several applications and become more and more competitive. Nevertheless, low oil prices put pressure on alternative feedstocks and novel processes. This makes cost-efficiency of processes and access to molecules with unique propeties crucial. The conference will give insights into needs and drivers in key-markets for the bioeconomy. Furthermore, the state of the art in biocatalysis and bioprocess development will be presented.

The two-day programme will cover the following topics:
  • High performance biocatalysts for tomorrow's applications

  • Biotechnology for today's products

  • Start your day with biotech - Biobased solutions for functional food

  • Stick with biotech - Biobased solutions for adhesives

  • Get in touch with biotech - Biobased solutions for cosmetics

  • With talks from: AB Enzymes, Evonik, Henkel, Nestlé, Novozymes and Sofinnova as well as RWTH Aachen, TU Dortmund University, TU Kaiserslautern, Qingdao Institute of Bioenergy and Bioprocess Technology and Wageningen University, plus many more...
