Joining Competencies – the CLIB-Technology Cluster
CLIB2021 has identified 4 research topics, namely polyomics, expression, biocatalysis, and downstream processing (DSP) as being essential in industrial biotechnology. Thus, four corresponding research platforms have been established at the universities of Bielefeld, Dortmund, Düsseldorf and Forschungszentrum Jülich: PolyOmics, ExpressO, RedoxCell, and Downstream Processing. Training the Rising Generation – the CLIB-Graduate Cluster
The above mentioned universities also take care of young professionals in the fields mentioned. 84 positions are offered to top graduates from all over the world. German-Russian Cooperation Network Biotechnology
Since 2011, CLIB2021 has been in charge of initiating and coordinating partnerships between German and Russian companies, particularly in the field of biotechnology. It thus assists the university of Kassel which leads the program focusing on academic cooperation. The network will use the CLIB-office in the A.N. Bach Institute.
